Dad texts, much like dad jokes, are truly the stuff of legend. Much has been said about the average father's enjoyment of the thumbs up emoji, which fortunately my own dad likes to extend to an even larger portion of the emoji keyboard.

However, this isn't the only quirk to be found in fatherly texting styles. Every dad is unique, and some favor a more formal approach. This was recently demonstrated by one TikToker who took to the platform to reveal how her dad chooses to text all his kids. Claiming that "he only speaks 'corporate'", she showed how she often received messages that came across like they were from management as opposed to a family member.

Viewers were mightily amused at this particular communication style, with some even praising it as an efficient way to talk with family. I guess it is a better way of being taken seriously than replying 👍 to everything.
